Looking for a fresh start to your love-life this spring?
Looking for a fresh start to your love-life this spring? Relationship expert Dr Gian Gonzaga, from relationship website eHarmony.com.au, has the following tips:

Get over it. Before you throw yourself into your dating future, make sure you’re over your dating past. Don't blame all men because one man hurt you.

Get rid of baggage. Don’t let your collection of unpleasant memories negatively affect your perception and behaviour now. Welcome a new and fresh perspective into your life. Once you’re free from the past you can rediscover intimacy.

Be realistic about what you want. Make a list of the qualities and traits you're looking for in a partner - then ask how realistic it is. For example, you might want to meet someone who is highly educated with multiple degrees. Ask whether a person's education is as important as finding someone who has amazing life experiences which have helped shape and educate him.

Clean your house. Give yourself a fresh start by purging your home of mementos and photographs that remind you of your ex.
