Have you ever been caught turning up the heat under the sheets and suddenly your phone rings or you get a text message?

Most would ignore the phone and get on with their business, but new research has found 11 percent of people under the age of 25 have no worries about texting while having sex.

The study of 1000 people was compiled by Retrevo (a website dedicated to tech-savvy people) to see how addicted tech nerds are to their technology. On a social media front, the survey interestingly found that 19 percent of young adults check Facebook and Twitter first thing in the morning and 18 percent of people under 25 check their accounts every two hours.

They also found 49 percent of people surveyed had no worries about eating while using their phone, 22 percent would happily text during a meeting and 24 percent said they would text while on the loo. So next time you get a text from friends under 25 — don't ask them what they're doing at the time of texting.

"We're not qualified to declare a societal, social media crisis," said Andrew Eisner, hardcore gadget enthusiast and Retrevo's director of community and content, "but when almost half of social media users say they check Facebook or Twitter sometime during the night or when they first wake up, you have to wonder if these people aren't suffering from some sort of addiction to social media."

Well, it's damn-near surprising that, people are completely oblivious to the "silent" feature installed into most cellular phones. The initial purpose of the "silent" feature is to avoid being distracted by anyone during intimate moments such as is sexual engagements. those of us who actually keep the cellphone close to us all the time, whether it be in the pocket of our jeans, or on the bedside table, should think about the "silent" function when they want to hear their lover instead of a vibrator simulation. but that's just an opinion eh?
Most definately no txting during sex! If you've got the time to txt then the sex is crap! And lets face it who's more important than the person you're having sex with? If the person on the phone was that important you'd be having sex with them! Only one exception.... txt sex.....now that's a different story!..................
