How to keep your back strong

Keep your back strong with these techniques.

When shopping:
Don’t overload
yourself with bags. Instead balance the load evenly in both hands.

When at work:
Make sure that your desk height,
computer set-up and lighting are all adjusted to create a more comfortable working environment.

When exercising:
If you’ve been given back exercises
by your doctor or physiotherapist, do them each day, but don’t over-exercise. Don’t be too prescriptive with your exercises and learn to ‘listen’ to your back.
